Questions about Capital One

Thanks for all the answers. I think I will ask for an upgrade but I am not sure if I should do it now or wait until next week when I pay my bill. As for the CLI, I am still debating on that one. I'm fine with the low amount but I know a higher amount will help my score. Of course, I just realized that Capital One is slow in reporting my payment history. Hopefully they will report this month.

I have upgraded my platinum card to a Quicksilver with no AF. I did not ask for a CLI as I think I will wait until after I pay off my card next week (I always pay it completely off) or finish out the credit steps program. Again, thanks for the advice.

I was recently approved for a platinum MasterCard with no annual fee at all. Not sure why some platinums have the fee and others don't.

my first platinum never had AF but got the mailer recommending it too so idk if it changed anything. the mailer said no AF

My platinim didn't have the AF but I can see why people said to ask for an upgrade because you earn cash back.

After upgrading my Platinum to a QS yesterday, I chatted this morning to see if I could get the spend bonus as a PP mentioned. Chat wouldn't do it. I might call later. I just hate talking to Capital One.

I'm not expecting it at all. I'm just figuring since my Platinum was pretty much brand new, I might have a chance still.
