Barkley's Rewards MC in a good card , no AF, and fairly easy to get. Good cli's too, although a lil to early for me personally to confirm that .That's the second time I've pushed that card tonight
In my opinion, Barclay's Rewards card for average credit would be one of the better cards to get. I have had it for 18 months and have gotten an automatic CLI every 6 months.
What was ur starting limit and ur cli incerdiment?
@Pistons0 wrote:Ive look at the card and it isn't too bad especially if you're getting good CLI regularly, but the APR is very high (25%) and no intro promo rate. I will have to think about it as I definitely would get approved seeing the scores that are getting approved for that card but contemplating if I want a HP on my report. After reading some reviews I see about half of them are horror stories on barclays in general and other half are praises with auto CLI.....hmmmmmm.
People get horror stories from all different lenders so its not like Barclay is the exception.
And for me, its been cool, no issues at all, and I'm approching my 6 months and looking forward to getting auto cli to 3000.
As far as 25%, who cares what the rates are....u should b paying in full anyways.
Funny, just posted about this on another thread...
Credit steps program is good. I got it when my score was pretty low, about 600ish? I got $750 to start increased to $1250 in 5 months, then $1750 six months after. My other CAP one card (not credit steps) auto CLIed with my Credit Steps bump. It went from $300 to $1800. I was shocked.
I'm almost to my next six months, not sure what to expect.
As for Barclay, opened with $1750 limit, went to $3500 after 6 months auto CLI.
