After reading in another thread, I looked at my HSBC replacment card. It said Quicksilver one. So then I read online about the fee. I called the normal number (won't do that again... wow...that was fun..) but finally got someone to tell me I had no AF on the card. She tried to tell me it was a normal quicksilver, but its an MC so i doubt it. Probably won't leave the sd anyway but i did not want an AF surprise.
When did you apply? I talked to them on the 9th about PCing from the Rewards MC to Quicksilver. They gave me the Quicksilver One and I told them I didn't want the One but the Quicksilver. In the meantime they had already canceled my Rewards MC. This was all within about 15 minutes. Nothing online, e-mail or snail mail so I haven't a clues what's going on. I hope I didn't lose the tradeline.

Strange! When I changed over it was the same account, same number. Only the rewards changed a little, and I got a new card that says Quicksilver One. Can you see your card online still, with an open credit limit?
Yes the rewards card with the same limit is displayed
I've been trying to get an exact answer in what the difference is between the QS and QS One? Can someone please explain.
the difference is:
Quicksilver: NO annual fee, typically for good to excellent credit and usually a Visa
Quicksilver One: Annual Fee of $39, typically for average to good credit and usually a MasterCard.
Note: there can be some slight differences due to product changes but these are the main differences.
and Venture Card is on a similar platform although both are Visa.
Venture Card: minimum credit line $5,000
Venture ONE: minimum credit line $3,000
