Ouch...shot down!  At least it was only a hard pull.  I went for the Sam's club increase and it was a no go. 

Thanks for the number everyone, it was worth a try.  I think that maybe my current number of inquiries probably played a role in the decision but I will have to wait for the letter to confirm.

I'm surprised citi would not budge on a cli. When I got approved online, it was for 1k. I immediately called them and said I was wanting to make a large purchase on their 0% interest deal and really wanted 3k. The rep said I could use the same hp for 30 days and they approved me for 3k with no problems. Maybe call and ask a different rep?

I called the home depot backdoor number in the sticky.....it says credit analyst beside it. I'm on my cell and can't get it to copy and paste....sorry. Good Luck!!!
