REPORTING QUESTIONS NEW PRODUCT CHANGE WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS

Hi, last month was offered via email from american express the premier gold rewards card with perks of 1st year annual fee waived and 10,000 point bonus with 1st usage of card I took the credit hit on 2/4/2010 for this offer when the card arrived on 2/12/10 I cancelled the regular gold card that I had.  Now all my credit reports show the cancelled american express account for the regular gold card.  But the premier gold card is not reporting yet  does anyone have an idea when this might happen also will the date of the new account show an open date of Oct, 09 on my credit reports like my old card.  Thanks for any information

Amex should backdate it for you.  Just give them a call and ask them why its not reporting, and if they could kindly backdate it.
