Reapply for Wamu now that it is Chase?

Applie for Wamu a ways back, they said no because their history showed I had a bad account with them (it was in fact providian)

Now that Wamu is Chase, do you think Chase is checking Providian via Wamu too?

It was a change in name... their records didn't disappear.
