Reason number 4,328 why CreditOne sucks!

My closed CreditOne card reported on EX as a paid loan. We all know what happens when loans get paid off, your credit score drops. As mine did 15 points.

Wow! That's crazy! Never heard of that happening.

Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!

Re: Reason number 4,328 why CreditOne sucks!

I had the same exact issue in February.  DH added me as an AU just because he had the card for 2 years and I had no recent credit.  He closed the account last month when he got 2 cap 1 cards.

I hate to say it but it isn't Credit One.  It is how Experian or Fico keyed/closed it or something.  TU and EQ just show "account updated" then on details show the account was closed.    On the experian credit report it clearly shows "

  • Account Closed At Consumer’S Request

and it is a revolving card.

Loan type [?]

Credit Card, Terms REV

My alert showed exactly as yours and I lost 15 points.  I still haven't recouped those points *sigh*
