Re: Rebuilding my credit through credit cards

I tried for a BofAm on friday and was denied and did not get a counter offer and I am just over 600.  They pull Experian.

Starting Score: EX:603
Current Score: EX:603 (10/16/19)
Goal Score: EX:740

Before apping for any more CCs, I'd focus on repair first.

I agree with llecs.

definitely spend more time in trying to repair your report.

However i do understand many who state they would like to dilute the bad with some good tradelines.

I would definitely advise you to get a BofA secured card. This will uncsecure in 9-12 months and grow with you.

Also get a Macy's store card. This will help with your credit mix thus earning you some more fico points hopefully.

But please work on cleaning your report.

Hope this helps and keep us updated
