Hi Fam-
I am trying to figure something out. I figured out how I am going to meet my spend for the Venture. I am going to pay my rent plus my sisters rent
on this card and that will put me well over the $3000 spend requirement. Here is my question though. Should I immediately pay the the card when the charges post or should I wait for the first statement to cut and then pay?
Immediately pay is best. You will still get the bonus points for the spend.

Thanks Vicky. I couldn't figure out how I was going to meet the spend until my sister suggested it lol.
I paid off last years tax bill with mine, even though I could have just cut a check, and boom, there was my spend.

Hmmm, I will do the same with the Venture One. Nice, thanks for the idea.
It can be challenging to spend 3K unless you have a pending trip coming up, paying bills on the card and paying it down is a great idea to qualify for the Venture points!
How much is the limit? Depending on the limit and overall UTIL, that's how I'd make my decision. You don't want 3,000 reporting on a 5,000 card. 3,000 on a 20,000 card is ok though.
