Platinum Plus is their old Visa from before all the BankAmericard Cash/Travel Rewards cards came out.

 

It's basically a no-frills no-rewards Platinum Visa. Sounds like they have now repurposed it as an unadvertised builder card.

platinum plus is still part of the base generic name at BOA. I have a cash rewards, it still has platinum plus as part of the card name in online banking.
