So today I received an email from Best Buy about getting their Rewards Credit Card, its a pre-selected offer based on what I see on the page when I opened it.
Anyways, the offer is spend $500 in the first two months and I would get a $100 Gift Certificate...I am not sold on this card yet. I have the Discover it card and the chase freedom card, so how would I benefit from this card other than the bonus?
This year I already got quiet a few cards:
Citi Double Cash
Discover IT Chrome
FNBO AMEX
The above three I got approved last month, not sure if I should app for any other cards at this time.

I think you might have answered on your own question. And if you already use Shop Discover for Best Buy, you're already getting 5% cashback anyway through that. Unless you wanna take advantage of the financing offers, I don't see much use for the card other than a way to get in with Citi.

That's for you to determine. Wuold you have applied for this card without the offer? Don't just repond to offers -- they're just marketing. Apply for the cards that you need/want.

Its a decent card if you shop at BestBuy often. You get 5% back in rewards and then you can also get 3X rewardzone points if you find that promo.
I ended up getting a $70 rewardzone cert on an openbox Macbook(plus 10% off because open box coupon) that I paid $620 to on the bestbuy card. I paid the other 100 in cash.
I ended up getting a 29 inch HDTV for $25 yesterday using that $70 cert and my bestbuy elite status.
Basically, if you know what you're doing it can be a pretty good credit card to have around for those times you buy things at bestbuy.
I didnt get a free $100 when I got mine and I still have it, go ahead and get it OP.

Hmm, but the Discover one is only if you shop online right? Not in store correct?

I'd probably do it if i'd run out of potential bonuses to take advantage of with more prime-like ventures. Then again, when am I not at Best Buy? I live across the highway from one!
