6 Days after receiving the 7-10 day notification I recieved my rejection letter for my in Freedom Card.
I made the application in the Chase Branch and had done a recon the following day on the phone and was turned down.
Now I receive the letter stating I have 30 days to contact them with any new information that might be on my credit report.
Since I have three new Amex cards that have not reported yet I thought I might wait till they report and then give Chase a call
and inform them that Amex Costco True Earnings has issued me a card with a CLI of $10,000.
They also issued me a BCE with $1,000 and a Sync with No Preset Spending Limit.
No where in the letter does it mention it will be an additional Hard Pull.
Has anyone been charged with another HP after Reconing a similar Letter?

There would be no way for them to know the accounts were there unless they did another hard pull. They also may not like that you have three new accounts in such a short time.

+1, very bad idea to let those 3 new accounts report. They won't look at that positively since they are fairly new accounts. What are reasons 4 denial?

+1 I would definitely get to them BEFORE those new accounts report if you're going to recon. I don't think they will care as much that AMEX gave you those accounts as much as they care about the new credit.

The reason for the denial was " Too Few Accounts Reporting"
Chase pulled EX.
I just have the one Cap1 reporting since February.
It is always paid in full every month and never more than 10% usage on $2000 of secured credit.
Amex seemed to be OK with my track record and even gave me a Back Date to 1983
I also have no negatives in my Credit Reports. Just a thin history as I went Sans Credit Cards for years. (Got tired of paying interest so I regrouped)
Used just Debit Cards, Pre Paid Cards and Checks.

Since those cards will get backdated I think it's worth a try. My Zinc reported a couple of weeks after I recieved it. G.L. I think you'll get in with Chase once those cards report.

The analyst would probably wonder why the cards that were not there are all of a sudden almost thirty years old.

I am not sure how this back dating all works.
I originally had an Amex Gold Card back in 83 but the card has not been active for ten years.
The Credit Agency can't show it reporting any activity previous to my new cards issued but according to those on this booard with more experience than me it counts as time served in the Amex community.
My new cards do show '83 on them so it is pretty cool.
It will be interesting to see how the 3 new cards, the back dating and the new large CL affects my credit score.
Will it go up or down ?
OR......... will it have a temporary negative affect followed by a positive bounce?
I will update as the credit saga continues................
