I'm surprised that the Discover More does so; I thought two-cycle utilization calculation was more commonly associated with the skeevier cards.
Not necessarily. As a matter of fact if you look at the Discover More card and the different terms they offer for various levels of credit history, the terms for the "Needs Improvement" category are single-cycle, and the terms for those with better credit are two-cycle.
