Is it possible to recon the initial CL that Citi hands out? If so, which number do you call, as I didn't see one in the backdoor numbers.
Also, what is their CLI policy? Thanks in advance everyone.
I didn't recon my limits but I did ask for cli this week for cards I only opened on June 21st. 2k increases on my thank you preferred and simplicity

Citi is tough with any recon. You can ask the EO to review it but its very YMMV. You can request CLI every 6 months, just be mindful of the verbiage on the screen. Sometimes it tells me a credit pull is needed but most of the time it says no credit pull is needed.
Really after 6 months? Curious as to why they approved my CLI then even with HP's were worth it

Wondering if I should even bother then. The CL they gave me is lower than almost all my other accounts, much more so in some cases. However, I do have many new accounts this year and the inqs to go with them.

I wouldn't just let it sit and wait the 6 months. or wait a few weeks and take another HP for a CLI?
I now have $6,000 for the thank you and $4,000 on the Simplicity and $6,000 is my highest limit on any of my cards ( might close my CS and move that to the CSP maybe)They were at $4,000 and $2,000. So Far Citi has been the most generous with CLI besides Amex of course in my personal experience
so guys no one is having luck with reconning the initial cl with citi? i just got approved for $6600 on the diamond prefered card but thats my lowest limit out of all my cards. i was wondering if i should try to get an increase?
