Re: Req 3xcli now or wait?

No, they don't sp you when you request the cli, they actually go off the last sp, which could be 1-2 months old. It would actually be alot better if they would do a new SP when you do a cli request.

Re: Req 3xcli now or wait?

You'd think that Amex would want the most up to date info, what if in a month you had maxed 3 other cards or something? Also, how do you know when a CCC SP's you?

Amex Everyday 6k || Chase Sapphire 5k || Buypower Card 5k || USAA Wounded Warrior Mastercard 4k || Citi TYP 4.9k|| Citi Forward 5.5k || Discover It 2k || Chase Freedom 5.5k || Walmart 1k || Chase Amazon 1k
Business: Chase ink cash 5k || AMEX Simply Cash 3.8k
Total CLs: 48.7k

Wait. I'm still waiting for them to update my SP. I've been eligible for 61 day request since 11/14ish. It's been difficult to wait.

Why are you waiting? Don't they SP you when you request the increase?

Nope. They use your most recent SP which for me is 10/18/12 which has a 20-30 pt lower due to UTIL.

Re: Req 3xcli now or wait?

Waiting sure is hard, especially if past the 61 days and they haven't SP in a while.

Re: Req 3xcli now or wait?

How can we get them to SP us?  I don't want them to use my HP for the Delta Gold, when I request the 3x/61+day CLI

Nothing to do. I've called and asked twice. Just have to wait.

Good luck, let us know what happens =) I just got a 3x CLI this morning on my Blue Sky card.

Congrats! What are your old/new limits?

I called a CSR and requested a new 6k limit (my old limit was 2k). This was the first time I got a CLI out of them, I was denied for a 1k increase a while back.
