Does anyone know which bank issues a check, or will DD a credit balance the fastest? I am planning to do a BT with Chase to a card with no balance.

When I had a credit balance with Macys(Citi) it took about a week after I requested it to be sent out. However, to avoid all this you could just deposit that cheque into your bank account. A lot of banks let you do this with balance transfers.
Does anyone know how long it takes for Discover and AMEX to issue a credit balance check? Will they direct deposit the credit balance? Thanks!
