is there a difference? I tried a cli on my old navy card online and it was denied... not sure why since my score has only gone up since my last CLI... which was 4 months ago.. should i wait 6 months? or should i call??? Also.. does anyone know an old navy recon #?
I don't think there is any difference, the only thing I would do if calling, is ask the CSR if it's going to be a hard for the CLI request.
I do not have any Old Navy products, so I can not say weather it's best at 4 or 6 months.
Best of Luck!
well its a GE backed card... are GE cards usually 4 or 6 months wait in between CLI's? i received an increase on my BB and old navy card on the same day in Nov.. sucks if i'd have to wait till march

I think you got a better shot requesting online and if they deny then call and ask for a manual review.
If it's a GE card, then I would say after every 4th statment cuts you can ask for CLI.

I've noticed you can do it whenever you like but I think they only count if its been 4 months apart from your last CLI.
+1 Although you can still request before but chances are you might get denied

They'll deny and send you the exact same info from your approval scores.
Oh the famous 'you will get a letter explaining the results of your denial in 7-10 bd'

i've requested CLI's each of the last 3 months the letter always says "Your request was denied because you have insufficient experience with your current credit line"
