I always get confused on this, is the BCP 6% groc. / 3% gas??
If so you can have that AF paid for very quickly, probably 2-3 months and then start gaining profit off if it!
Just on groceries, the break even point is just about $50 per week. More than that, preferred will net more cash, less than that and the everyday is a better choice. Of course, gas and department store purchases factor in too, but with only 1% more they aren't as significant. It would take $150 per week in those two combined to break even, not including groceries. To make it easy, you can multiply whatever you spend weekly on groceries by 3 and count it toward the $150, then add in gas/department stores.
