2 free nights at the ritz PLUS 140k points sounds good
or double signup bonus madness, 280k points
The vacation I would have with 280k Ritz points combined with about 160k UR... Oh man...

Oh my God. Yes. Or at least that waived AF for those who haven't been able to get one from SM yet.
As of now, I've put about 600 dollars spend on this card. 2,400 more dollars to go. This has surely been a fun experience. Can't wait for the next reimbursement in the next year. I'll probably have well over a 1000 dollars of spend by then. I'm glad this hasn't been as hard as I thought. Now if only they could give me a serious answer about the waived AF.
I think you guys misunderstood...The points are originally for a 2 night stay at a cat 1-4 Ritz Carlton, that's how it's advertised. Basically, you'll get 140K points to stay 2 nights a Ritz, not taking into account that you can also use those points at a Marriot lol. I hope that makes sense lol.

As long as it puts 140,000 points in your account then I don't care what they call it :-). Those points can also be transferred to airlines correct?

What we are saying is it seems Chase has put a restriction on our offers.....stating that it is two free nights only, with no mention of the 140,000 points. As long as the points are deposited into our accounts, we could care less!

I just got off the phone with JPM EO and they explained that the "nights" will be given as 140,000pts after the spend.

Okay that clears up a whole lot then. Is it still after 3k of spending or 2k of spending for the 140k points or two nights at the ritz carlton or whatever they're pushing now?
A lower spending requirement for the same amount of points would actually be nice because I'd be able to meet that quicker.
