The Capital One Spark, despite what I was told when I applied, does indeed report to personal credit files. This is a first in my experience with business credit cards. My Chase does not report to my personal file and neither does my Amex Plum Card.
I was actually rather angry and called to complain. My utlilization on my credit report is the highest it's ever been right now. I let the balance go a few days since I wasn't concerned with it reporting. I paid it Monday. Now Wednesday morning, I have a new account and massive balance increase. Thanks Cap1. You never cease to disappoint me with bad information, abrasive behavior and an overall experience unbefitting a prime business card. I told the rep today that dealing with Cap1 compared to Amex or Chase is like the difference between Bloomingdales and Dollar General.
So, this card not only cost me 2 tri-pulls (yes, that's SIX HPs total!) but also now cost me AAoA and a temorary blemish on my utilization.
Cap1 is the disappointment that keeps pushing the limits of disappointment.

We could've told you that
.
There's several threads about it on the Business credit forums unfortunately as to which report to business credit, and which report to personal. I suppose there's advantages and disadvantages to both, but personally in building a business while I'm sure there's going to be the anyone who will give me credit phase, I'd hate to have a card not reporting to my business's credit report.

You should be posting and looking over in thge business card section for stuff like this... I know lot less posts and responses over there but what is posted I think gets answered quickly and correctly.... Additionally about5 5 posts about Cap1 and reporting :/
Now what'ws with 6 HP's, I be disputing that stuff, writing corporate... I wouldn't bother calling unless you are one of Cap1 favs which would be CL above $5k I think in my book!
Discover also reports to PG

This is sad, but unfortunately apping with anything Cap1 is taking a chance on poking a bear and hoping you don't get mauled.

Thanks for the tip on the Business credit forum. All this time here and I have never even noticed it was there.

Buyer beware: anytime you put your SSN on anything related to the business, it WILL come back to bite you on your personal behind. I was very glad that I did not have my SSN attached to the business cards when our company went kerplunk or it would have been worse than it already was. I also had some leverage because they could NOT threaten to mar my credit for life or sue a defunct business. Fortunately, I was able to work out payment plans, but it was a very important lesson learned.

Agree fully, but in the current market I don't think you can get a business card from anyone without a PG. That doesn't reflect as to whether it reports to personal or business credit reports though.
