SEARS Offer - $100/mo. statement credit on everyday purchases

Did anyone else receive this offer from Sears?  This offer was in today's mail, which is kind of annoying since the offer started 4 weeks ago on July 1st.  I had to call or go online to activate this offer using an offer code they supplied in the letter.  It does say "per month," so I guess I have a few more days to try to earn July's maximum of $100 back as a statement credit.  Problem is my limit on my Sears MC is only $430.  I tried to initiate a CLI online, but Citi wants to pull my credit report.  That's not going to happen.  I guess I will just make payments as I go.  Citi really needs to update the Sears card website - it doesn't even show pending transactions.  But for $100 back every month through October, I guess I can put up with it!

That's a heck of an offer.  Does that spending have to take place at Sears and Kmart, or does the bonus count for spend anywhere?

I'm pretty sure the spend does not have to take place at Sears/Kmart.  The symbols on the little insert that came with the letter show an airplane, gas pump, as well as a table setting (dining).  I'm pretty sure Sears/Kmart doesn't have gas pumps.  I will give Sears a call to get confirmation, though.

Got the same offer. Came at a great time too as I hit my 6K on my Amex Preferred card.  I never use this card but when this offer came in I was too a little perplexed. Nevertheless, I'll easily hit the 1K and reap $400 by the end of the year. Take advantage of this offer it's a sweet deal.
