SPG initial spend bonus

I believe I finally crossed the initial spend requirement on my Amex SPG card, since I was using it for small ticket items for the whole time. When will the bonus showup on the acount? Statement cut isn't for a few more weeks.

It will show up in about 1 week or less. Amex is good with sign up bonuses.

The cash back bonus on my BCP posted the same day that the transaction posted to meet the spending threshold.

Well that is good news. Just too bad it takes forever to move the points to other programs!

Haven't done it yet, but have read it can take weeks. Maybe that only applies to the MRs.

Under 24 hours once I hit the minimum spend ($5000 in 6 months)

SPG points can take a while to convert to other programs

MR points should be instantaneous
