Sallie Mae AU

My wife just got the SM card, with me as an authorized user.  In March I was planning to app for my own.   In other people's experience, will being an AU have a negative impact, e.g. a lower initial CL because they already have some exposure to me?   If so, I guess we'll avoid mutual AUs in future....

Re: Sallie Mae AU

I don't think it will have any negative impact on you. You are just an authorized user. The responsibility of debt still falls upon the main cardholder.
