Good Morning and Happy New Year!
For those of you who are able to get 5% back at your local Target and Wal-Mart stores (woohoo!) does this also apply to online purchases? I'm not at all familiar with merchant codes or how they work so I dont know if you have to physically swipe the card in the store, which is what I've done so far, or if an online purchase would also give me 5% back. Thanks!

Haven't tried it yet.
Well play the guinea pig and report back in a couple days! I kid Unless you want to
Won't it show whether the discount is being applied prior to final payment?

If it does I've never noticed it. It shows the points received once the transaction posts but with SM that seems to take 3 days for me :/
I got the email yesterday that my new SM is in the mail... If someone else doesn't post back I'm sure I'll try an online transaction soon.

This isn't a red card, just a credit card, so no discounts, just rewards after purchase posts.

Oh. Thanks for the clarification. Speaking of the Redcard. Still waiting on my permanent one, 12 days later
