Does anyone know when they will begin taking new applications for the new Sams Club Mastercard? 

I know conversions are happening this month for existing Discover holders, but I'm curious about new accounts.

According to their website, it will be on the 23rd.

My statement states the Sam's Club Discover card program will end and be replaced by Sam's Club Mastercard program on June 23, 2014. The rewards program changes are not tied to the activation of your new Sam's Club Mastercard and will take effect on purchases posted to your account on and after June 19, 2014.
