The cash back is very lame for sams IMO so hopefully the rewards imporve altho not expecting something big since it is still a co-branded card.
With them moving to MC, are we sure there is going to be any rewards with it? I'm just assuming, since the Walmart Discover is branded with Discover, the 1% back was because of it being a discover.

But it wasn't 1% either.. the cash back was based on tiers.. it was/is the WORST cash back "discover" ever.

The Wally Discover was basically the Discover More without the bonus categories. So no, not a great cashback card. However, if they created some sort of rewards system like the Gap/ON/BR cards, that could be worthwhile, at least for store purchases.
Hopefully Walmart keeps the special financing options and expands it to the online store as well. I don't particularly like how it's setup for in store purchases only.
This is slightly disappointing. When I got the Discover upgrade, I was happy to finally have a Discover card...
