Not the best looking card if you ask me.

No, but the rewards structure looks nice.

+1   would love to see Walmart come up with 5%..lol..wishful thinking Smiley Happy

Seriously, you would think with all the hype they could have put another 7 minutes into what the card looks like!  Yeah it's all about under the hood horsepower (read:  rewards), but good grief my Chihuahua could have deisgned a better looking card.

Then send your chihuahua to Sam's Club!   Hehehe

Personally, I don't think it looks any worse than the Fidelity Amex.  It's too bad when good cards look so ugly.

Some day I'll try sneaking him in Smiley Wink

I guess if they save resources on card design and pass it along to us consumers...I can live with it.  It looks like they used Tetris pieces in the card design though.

Re: Sams Club Mastercard Photo

Well I don't think the Blue and Green are too bad looking.  I wonder what the rewards will be?  5% on gas at Sams Club, 3% at Walmart Gas, and 1% everywhere else?

I don't think they will be embossed, I think the trend is away from embossing them, one of my Capital One cards is simply the numbers printed on the front.

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.....
Always follow these rules: Only take a HP for a new account. Always use the best rewards card for that reward category. Don't close a card unless you know you really should. Never use more than 35% of a credit limit. Recon as much and as best you can. Use the introductory period to the best advantage. Get the signup bonus. Whenever possible PIF or balance transfer so you pay less in interest. Never give an excellent rating when it is actually the norm. Always look for a discount as more is always better.
Always accept candy from strangers because they have the best candy or from people you know have good candy.

I agree with the green and blue ones not looking too awful. If only Walmart has the same structure when they switch over... wishful thinking indeed.

Cards look like the CapOne QuickSilver "Gym Membership" type of cheapness. Also if anyone's wondering, the Walmart MC.... Will be the exact same design as the Discover is now only with the Old Skool MC hologram above the MC logo and an EMV chip.  Just saw a picture of it on my Walmart Disc statement today along side the notice of the change over.

Current Debt Management:
$15k Trinity Financial Management (scheduled pay off late 2021)
$10k NFCU
$350/mth Bridgecrest Auto Loan
Goals: Pay off credit card debt & buy a new home before end of 2020

Long Term Debt:
Fed Loans - $150k
Navient - $100k

Taking a "if God don't do it, it won't get done..." approach to paying these off.
