Sapphire v. Cash+

Which one do you guys think offers a better return as far as restaurants/fast food places go?

Re: Sapphire v. Cash+

Moving forward I would lean towards CSP as you can get a higher redemption value for your 2X UR points than the 2% cash back you'd get from Cash+.

Cash + by a mile, although rumor has it 5% restaurant category is going away. So that would change the equation.

Wait, wait, wait.  The caveat is not the Preferred card, but the the regular Sapphire.

Re: Sapphire v. Cash+

Cash+ will now give you only 2% on resturants. Fast foods can still earn 5%. Cash+ will make sense if you are too much into Fast Foods. Else Chase AARP is a better choice which gives you 3% on resturants and fast foods alike.

It is not a rumor anymore. It is gone. They have now replaced it with Clothing Stores.

Re: Sapphire v. Cash+

Cash + is a far superior credit product to the regular sapphire...

Seems like the 5% on fast food is still intact though.
