Score Card Rewards questions

I want to open a cc with my local CU. All the cards come with the scorecardrewards program. Is it any good? Best one has an 8.9% apr. Any previous experience or advice about this is much appreciated.

Re: Score Card Rewards questions

I have a CU credit card with Score Rewards as well. I'll put it politely. The bonus of these cards is the low APR. I have not seen any benefit of the rewards. The "store" looks like SkyMall.

Cards: AMEX BCE (2k), Barclay Arrival Mastercard (4.3K), Chase Freedom (1K), Discover It (1.3k), SECU (2K), CapOne Quicksilver (750)

Current Scores- Experian- 695, Equifax- 689, Transunion-680

Goal- 720 Across the Board

Re: Score Card Rewards questions

Thanks. I wanted a card with the CU I use for my checking/savings, but I guess I will just try to find one with a even lower apr. DCU and their free FICO and barclays Ring will have a few months to battle it out for my low apr card unless there are any better suggestions.

What kinds of limits do barclays and DCU give on the aforementioned cards?
