Sears MasterCard and Their Continuous Cash Back Offers

With rumors circulating that Sears is going out of business, I still keep receiving cash back offers on my Sears MasterCard.  Received 10% cash back on my gas, restaurant, and grocery purchases up to $1,500 per month for the 2nd quarter of this year.  This month I received another 10% cash back offer on gas, grocery, and restaurants for the 3rd quarter, this time up to $2,000 with a minimum spend of $1,500 each month.  The minimum is not a problem for my household.  The only thing I hate about this card is not being able to receive transaction alerts via text or email, and also not being able to see pending transactions.  But I suppose it's a small price to pay for earning between $450 - $600 in cash back over the next three months.

Re: Sears MasterCard and Their Continuous Cash Back Offers

That's a really nice offer if the minimum spend isn't a problem.  I guess they're trying to build out their credit portfolio before their stores go away.
