The Cash Rewards card was the first card US Bank gave me in 2009, literally after they cold called me. It's now at $14k running a BT, but I read on another thread that once you have one Cash+ you can have another. So I called today, and, yes, there is an upgrade option on my CashRewards, so yes, it is now converted into my second Cash+ card

Congrats.. When you do such thing do you call the analyst # in backdoor thread or # of back of card to find out "offers"? Still peaved with my initial CL as you might of seen from one of my many posts and want to try to nudge them in the right direction and if this takes a call every month to do so, then so be it.. Just curious on the # you called? Thanks!

Congrats !
I applied/approved for the standard Cash Rewards (at the time couldn't apply online, only via phone with no branches in Texas), but I'm working on changing that within the next 6 months now that I've closed the Kroger Visa card that got me in the door.
Nice Congrats!!!!

I got a call a week ago from an "online customer relationship" group and she had asked if there were any other credit products I needed. After thinking about it, and the trigger comment elsewhere here, I called that number back today, but the message was a recorded indication that it was for specific use and another number was given. I stayed on the original line, and I got to a CSR, who said the idea of the PC sounded interesting, but then forwarded me to a credit card specific group, so this PC was not from that called-back number. It was there (in the Credit Card group) that she checked my account and said, yes the account is eligible for the Cash+ upgrade. I've had this Cash Rewards for 6 years now, and did get a postal mailer to upgrade to the Cash+ about the time I got the separate cold call in 2013 to get the Cash+, the second USBank card I got.
Congrats! WTG!!!
I've been able to get SP CLI's from US Bank by waiting at least 6 months between requests (per card) and requesting only a $1500 increase. In fact, I recently got $1500 increase on each of my Cash+ cards by filling this form out twice:
https://www2.usbank.com/cgi_w2/cfm/credit/usb_cards/manage/usb_card_chg_main.cfm?Page=Limit
My understanding is that requests for more than $1500 are always HP, but $1500 is usually a SP. I don't know if the recent PC would reset the 6 month clock.
Good info. I'm happy with the $14k and $12,5k, but others can use that I'm sure.
Thanks for sharing!
Congrats
Congrats ! Welcome to the 2X Cash + fam
Now you can actually get more from their quarterly categories - definitely better than just having a Cash Rewards card
