Secured and AU for the same bank/CC......

Im in the process of trying to rebuild my credit. To do so I have applied for a secured CC with Citibank. I also asked my father to add me as an AU on one of his cards. He just emailed me and told me he added me to his Citibank card. So Im wondering if it is going to be an issue on my CR that I have a SCC and that Im also an AU for the same bank/CC. Should I apply for a SCC with another bank?

IMO,  It is better to have one secured card with a larger limit. rather than split the available funds across 2 cards.
