Re: Seeking high initial CL on 0% intro APR offer (UPDATE)

Very nicely done.
Gotta love the Freedom. Do you have a Chase checking account to go with it?

No on the checking account.  I thought about opening one, but no Chase banks near me.  Maybe next time I'm in New York.

Freedom + CSP + Checking (Good reading to see how the card works in combination with the account).

You'd get the most out of your Freedom by doing so if you can specifically link the Freedom and the account.

Definitely check it out next time you are in NY.

Re: Seeking high initial CL on 0% intro APR offer (UPDATE)

Thanks.  I'm aware of the advantages of that combo. I spend way too much time reading the various travel blogs.  I'll be looking into CSP later on.  For now, I was more interested in the 0% offer to finance some things around the new house.  We also will need a new car later this year, so I'm cooling it on credit card applications again until we buy the car.  Then I'll hit up some additional sign up bonuses.

Not sure if Chase pulls credit for setting up a checking account.  I'm sure I can find that by doing some searches.  If they do not, I'll probably set up an account, but if they do, I'll wait until after the car is purchased.

They didn't pull credit for me.

Good luck with the car purchase Smiley Happy
