Shop runner been giving out these promos for about 2 years now. Last year around mid November, they gave out 1 year free membership to anyone who signed up, including existing shop runner customers. Don't have to be an Amex card member for that promo either. Seems like they are doing this again this year. The promo usually last tills right before Christmas.
