How does the visa rewards work? what site did you go to for the pop up?

I really appreciate all the advise on this forum! I didn't know about the "shopping cart trick" until today.

i've been approved so far today using this method for:

Victoria Secret - $500

Buckle - $250

i would love to get the Total Rewards Visa. How do you get this to "pop up"

Yes, in quite a few cases you an get their cards without a HP, although seem to be limited to mostly store cards. The Visa and MC seem to be hit or miss.

If you get the pop-up, the store cards are a SP. I had the Stage stores (Peebles is my local brand) show up as an "AR" which is an Account Review, like a SP, not disclosed to other creditors.

I was solicited for the MyPoints Visa and it was a SP.

I received the pop-up for the Vitacost MC and it was a SP as well. (I haven't seen any application links lately, however)

Others have posted that the Total Rewards Visa is a HP.

If you cold app for a Comenity backed card, it may well be a HP on your credit report, but it definitely seems like the more you do business with them, the more they want to do business with you. (additional cards, CLIs, etc.)

I got the pop up for The Buckle las week and declined it and now i decided I want the card and can't get it to pop back up again. No matter what I try. What gives?

Tried a few sites.. only VS worked.. preapproved.. required only last 4 digits..

but how can i be sure if its an sp?

The Limited and Buckle were HP for me.

II tried unsuccessfully with the Firefox browser then got the pop up using seafari browser... 1200 preapproved dillards Amex. It's really tempting but I don't know if it will be a hard pull... Plus aaoa is something I'm working on... Is it a soft pull?

I got the pop-ups for VS & Loft. Approved for both with a SP. Both for $500. This was back in Nov for VS & Jan for Loft.
