Re: Shot off secured msg for Freedom to CSP PC

Got a reply.

Pretyy much what I expected. Account needs to be open for a year.

I shot a reply back asking:

-If a HP was needed

-Since its a 5K minimum would I be able to SP CLI

not interested in new accounts/INQ's. If I can't i'll wait until January and cold app for it!

The members that had a successful PC did your account # stay the same?

I have had my card for a while now and did a Freedom to CSP last week. KI was told the account stayed the same that I could also still use the Freedom since they will be the same account number.

Took about 3 days for the change to show up online. Instead of seeing 'Freedom' wehn you log on, you will see Chase Sapphire Preferred.

Process was pretty painless. Keep us posted, you should have no trouble.

Yea i'm kinda under the gun on the CL, I have 2.3K limit. Opened 9 months.

Not sure if they will CLI. I just paid it off 1,400 dollars.

From what I have seen with Chase, a CLI most likely can be a HP.

Reason is that the CSP is a sig card and most likely need a min CL of $5K.

Have you seen anyone with a CSP on here with a CL less than $5K? Hopefully someone will shed some light on this.

I would call them though, I'm too impatient Smiley Happy

Yes it is possible to get a CSP with a previous CL less than 5k.

Well, at least their reply confirms the consensus about the PC process.

Since I'm very familiar with Chase's policies, the CLI will not be SP.  Any CLI movements are always HP, which is understandable you're not willing to take for the time being.

Since you like your Freedom, then just keep it and evaluate the situation come around January '14.  You can then apply for the CSP (and if approved) keep both, or decide to combine them into whichever suitable product meets your needs - all kinds of options LS.

Yea I think I might do that. I'm limiting myself to a mini app spree of 2 apps in January. Either CSP or SW RR with Chase and BCE.

Re: Shot off secured msg for Freedom to CSP PC

SP for the PC @ the 12 month mark.

I think its best to wait it out and take a HP for the new app CSP and try for a freedom CLI with the same pull.
