Would it be possible that the one that costs $75/a year has MR Express points?
@ @ryan Most likely yes.
You should go with one of the blue cash cards. No annual fee good rewards. Since you can likely back date the new card it's like you never gave up the green card credit wise (not that it matters much with your scores) and keep your $125.
I would just PC it to a more useful card. Amex is pretty good at PC'ing cards.
I don't believe you can PC from charge to revolver and vice versa.

I dont believe in PCing AMEX cards because of Backdating. If you can spare the extra HP, applying for the card you want I think is the best option.
I would call AMEX and ask about a PC. I've never heard of PCing a AMEX card but if you did decide to close the account...you're account can be backdated in the future. If the card isn't benefiting you, I would close it. 125 a year is ridiculous.

I asked too. There is no requirement to go to the Senior Green, you just have to be at least 18 years old. The Senior Green with the Added $40 extra ($75 AF total) is the full MR program, NOT MR express. And like SlapHappy wrote, the CSR could not tell me the difference between the $75 Green and the $95 Green. So ANYONE with a regular Green can actually get their card down to $75 for free. Amex is ripping us off with the $95 AF!
You CANNOT PC charge card to revolving credit card, & vice versa.
