I think I got it, guys!  No word from Chase yet but this morning I logged onto my Chase banking home page and underneath my Freedom card it shows Chase Sapphire Preferred with a (gulp) $33k limit!!!!!!!!!

Did you call recon for that? Or did you just wait patiently?

Add to that the AmEX BCE 3X CLI that I did this morning and I've increased my credit by $43k in the last 24 hours.

I did recon yesterday but they wouldn't give me any info . . . then the card just appeared when I logged in this morning.

Re: Should I apply for Chase Sapphire Preferred?

Wow, congrats! From my understanding, they've also given you your biggest limit so far?

I hope it's all worked out, and your card comes soon. Come back to tell us how good a metal card feels--heard it feels nice!

Re: Should I apply for Chase Sapphire Preferred?

Yes, that is my greatest limit by an order of magnitude.  I just CLI'd AmEX BCP to 15k, that is my second highest.  Quite a difference!

Yeah I wish the points would be instant especially when you're trying to redeem them for travel probably can get your way with phone calls but it should just pop up especially when you're using their portals

Congrats! Once I wring out my amex bonus the Csp is my ultimate goal for 2016
