Should I apply for another card

I am wondering if getting another CC will help my credit. I am rebuilding from being an idiot when I was younger. My FICO is 621 and I do have a repo from 5 years ago. I have 2 card currently both capital one. Should I apply for another?

I would try the pre-qual links at chase, discover, citi, barclay (https://www.barclaycardus.com/apply/ProactivePrescreenLanding.action)

scores still a little low but in great range for discover and barclay paticularly.
