Should I apply for the BCP?

I was just approved for the Amex ED and I was told I should apply for another Amex and it would be a SP?  Is this true or does it have to be a NPSL card?

Thank you!

Re: Should I apply for the BCP?

It should be another pull because it's a revolver. Don't quote me on this, but I think it's one pull if you apply for a charge card first and then a revolver. I don't know if the application order really matters though. Wouldn't the BCP make your EveryDay card useless though? You'd be getting a better return on all the same categories and you would be more motivated to use it because of the annual fee.

Re: Should I apply for the BCP?

Some people get 2 cards with only 1 HP (charge card and revolver).

My DW got 1 pull for PRG and 1 pull for BCP, she applied the same day but had to call to verify some information, they approved BCP a few days later.

Yeah, I saw posts here that it's only 1 HP but not always, too bad my DW got in the 'not always' category. At least they backdated to 2014 when I added her as ACM on mine.

We 'may' forgive Amex if they 3x her CLI before statement cut Smiley Tongue
