you have pretty nice cards. definitely not worth to keep an orchard with af.

But should I app for another card before I close the account? And can I call Orchard to ask when the AF will hit?
I bet the Orchard is the 'oldest' card you have and that's why you're emotionally attached to it ?
I'm like that with my $1100 CL Cap One which is my oldest and will never grow and has a $39 AF. I'm holding on too tight to this card where I have much higher CL with onther cards. I know my Cap One cannot be PC'ed and will neer grow past its existing CL
well from what I read on the sticky closing it wont affect your AAoA, and im sure -300 from your credit limits combined shouldnt affect your score at all really, I would def. cancel the account before if your AF is coming fast... but if you got a week to spare and your utilitization is low keep it then dump it after your app.!! Good luck let us know how things go.
What's your AF and APR on that Orchard?
An aggressive $39 AF and 22% apr! I am going to call and find out when they will charge the AF and find a card I like to app for.

The $39 AF is not bad. At least cap one gave me a permanent APR of 9.64%. Try to see if they would waive the AF and lower your APR
