Should I wait?

Today's the day! My last baddie was disputed off my Ex report. So I'm officially free of bad debt!
So I'm wondering if I should go ahead and apply for another card preferably the Amex delta gold, in that ill be doing some traveling next month. My cap1 still hasn't reported, so I'm wondering if I should go for it now or wait until it reports and then go. Scores are below. Aaoa is 2y6m
Current Personal Cards:
Amex Gold - NPSL, Chase Freedom - 3300, Amex Optima - 1100

FICO8:
Ex - 702, TU - 727, EQ - 705

INQ:

Re: Should I wait?

Congrats on the new clean report!

I think you should go ahead and apply if your util% is low.  Definately apply for a charge card before applying for the Delta though.

Re: Should I wait?

Seems to be...  but over 2 yrs AAoA will be helping her out, that's why I suggested a Charge Card.

@webhopper

I always thought Amex wanted some sort of rev cc history - not as bad as Chase but something

Re: Should I wait?

@Lexie, Yes the cap1 is my only revolver.

@webhopper Thanks! I wanted to wait on a charge card because I cant really justify the af with the ones I want just yet. Delta is my primary flyer (until American gets their mess together) and the amount of travelilng ill be doing over the summer, the cost of free bags will more than take care of the AF

Re: Should I wait?

Someone else chime in ongoing for a revolver with no previous rev cc history.

I'm going to defer to others on this one.

If declined, OP should wait 12 months then re-apply...

If the income isn't there to support an AF card, you may consider waiting on the Amex app, as Lexie has suggested.  You may want to wait until Mid-Dec to apply for Amex and any other card.
