Also, I'm only in Amsterdam now because of Mongstradamus' help. I wasn't even aware that my sky miles points can get me here lol. I was gonna run some cash through the PRG, get the sign up bonus and then transfer to delta and spg, but he advised me to take a closer look! Instead of booking tickets for Hawaii, I'm now I'm Amsterdam, so cudos to him lol.

Awesome you made it to amsterdam :-)  how many points in total did it take for you to get there am curious :-)

115k + delta miles for both of us. I had to send myself some sky miles from the account I made for my GF because Delta won't let me get points for her tickets because I usually purchase tickets on another card. Basically , i had 42k+ miles, just shy of 43k. Can't remember the exact. I sent myself 15k miles from my GFs account and bought 60k miles for 2k. I still have 1k+ miles left haha.

Yah, it would have been 4k plus for both of us. Saved me a good amount. Economy of course lol. Still got zone 1 after business class. I didn't even bother looking at business class tickets, I never do because I know I can't afford them.

I'm going on 3 months now and I don't want to hit the 60 day 3x cli just yet cause I have seen them decline with 1000 starting limits. I'm thinking more like 6months or a year and then do it.

just for record when i orginally apped for BCP i only had 1k and got it at 61 days 3x .

If it helps, I probably got declined because I'm "app happy". I applied for about 4 card before I tried for a CLI, so that took a toll on my credit score. I'm one of those people who only care about credit scores because I want a credit card, not because I want a house or a car, at least for now...
