Not entirely true--I have a Signature card and it definitely has a limit Smiley Wink

Re: Signature card = no credit limit?

Your card issuer will give you a soft limit, but you can charge up to double that limit as long as you pay down your soft limit after you receive your statement.

In another words, your bank gives you a 5000 CL.  You need to charge something for 9000.  Once you get your statement for 9000, you need to pay off at least 4000 to bring your balance back to your credit limit immediately.
