Ugly?  In mho, I thought it looked kinda nice, lol -- the whole theme with the two revolving planets along with the interspersed blue contrast, etc.

And (to the extent that any card bestows prestige!) the prestige/status only works with a very small set of people.   The average person in the street wouldn't know a Simmons from a First Premier.

Heh. More like the average person in the street wouldn't know Simmons from Simmons, and would say "Oh, you've got a Simmons card? I've got a Sleepy's card!" (or a 1-800-Mattress card)....
