Got my AAdvantage cards the day after I got the approval letters, so hopefully the same happens for you.

Haha it sure is. Somewhat related question. My two rebuilder cards (WF Platnium, $500CL and Cap1 Platinum, $750CL) have account ages of a little over one year. Now that I have prime cards with way better limits, should I close the WF and Cap1 before they start to have a longer history/age?

If those cards do not have an AF, I see no reason to close them. Greater account age is a good thing.

Ha I got my AAdvantage card recently but like you it took quite some time before I recieved it. Also fooled by the approval letter in the mail before the card came. Looking forward to the bonus miles accured from the sign up bonus! Hope the wait isn't too long

I'm waiting on my BCE too! I got approved on the 7th and got the approval letter via snail mail the other day.  I hope my card comes by the end of the week!

Thanks! Didn't get the BCE in the mail today, but my Chase Freedom did arrive just in time for my business trip

Hopefully the BCE and AAdvantage are waiting for me when I return!

I got a letter from AMEX the other day. I bent it before opening it to see if I got the card but it was just the approval letter. Hoping it comes tomorrow or Friday at the latest!
