On a mission to close my subprime cards!
Called Milestone today just weeks shy of my year anniversary with the credit card company. Informed the customer service rep that I wanted to close the account. When asked why I replied "I'm not going to pay $75 to have a $300 line of credit". The customer service rep tried to sell me on the old " what about an emergency" line- to which I responded "I've got real cards for that now".
I closed it- so long Milestone cause I've worked hard and got "real credit cards" now!!
