So the CSR LIED!!!!!

They told me I was only approved for the lower tiered blue Delta Amex. Got it in the mail, lo and behold, it's the GOLD! I'm way happier now that I have a more valuable card but is this what I have to forward to from Amex? Wrong information? :-/

Congrats. Maybe you should call yo ask what your AF is. If $95. It's the gold. Waived first year of course.

Thanks. It is the Gold. Its just annoying that the CSR just blatantly gave me incorrect info. I was worrying for nothing

Amex CSRs don't always seem to be the most knowledgeable. Requesting a reallocation of limits between cards is something they are never trained on whatsoever. But with your experience that should be a no brainier. I'm glad you got the card you applied for.

Are you talking about that Delta Options card? Were you trying to downgrade from an existing Amex problem? I don't see what's going on here. AFAIK, there's no application on the website to app for it. You can either get Gold or Platinium on the website.

There is no Blue Delta Amex in terms of name.
