Ok let's try this again... I decided to hit the "luv" button on the B of A website last week and request a a credit line increase for my Visa. I already have an $8,000 credit line and thought i might be able to go up a couple of thousand. I left the amount open for what i wanted my limit to be to see what they would offer. I initially got the "...check back in 1 to 2 business days..." response so i thought i might get declined. I sat on it over the weekend and was going to try the back door # for a recon this morning but decided to log into my account first. Boy I'm I glad i did... They increased my credit limit to $18,000!!!! That was way more than I expected and I'm so excited. I plan on purchasing my first home by the 1st of the year and wanted to get my utilization down so this will definitely help. Can you believe I've had my Crapital One card for about 6 years and I've only received an increase from $500 to $1000??? What's up with that?
