I read that most need a 700 fico for sportmans guide since it's a visa/mc.
Regular store card approvals are more lenient with lower fico scores.
Bit the bullet and took the Cap1 Platinum pre-qual offer and was approved for $300 unsecured...hard pull but hope it's not a huge hit. Was also added as an AU to a CL of 1k today. Hopefully this will be enough to drive up score.
I think that I have read that people have had success with requesting a cli upon activation of their Sportsman's Guide Visa. Has anyone done this?
